2020 Pool Season Information

Date: June 18, 2020
Subject: 2020 Pool Season Information

Good Afternoon QL,

The Board has approved opening the pool for the 2020 season starting Saturday, June 20, 2020, however, there are specific rules and an online pool time reservation process that must be followed in order to use the pool.  Please note that there will be no application process and no pool passes issued as has been done in the past – this is a different process altogether.  Due to occupancy restrictions only household residents will be allowed to sign up for pool time – NO GUESTS.  Please review the attached rules as approved by the Board of Directors for operation during the COVID 19 pandemic as well as the attached waiver. By signing up users are agreeing to abide by the operating rules and the liability waiver.

Reserving Pool Time:

POOL USERS MUST SIGN UP FOR A 2 HOUR TIME SLOT ON THE QUEEN’S LANDING SIGN UP GENIUS site to use the pool. Below are instructions for reserving your space at the pool and at the bottom of this email is the sign up link. Also, SignUpGenius has an app for your smart phone. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact the office at [email protected] or at 410-643-5192.

Once at the site for Queen’s Landing Pool Time Reservations (link provided below) please read the introduction and review the rules and waiver included as attachments.  Then scroll down to see the days and time slots available.  Only a maximum of 7 days will show at any given time with each day showing four 2-hour blocks of time.

Check the “Sign Up” box in line with the days and time slots (only one time slot per day*) you would like and then click the “Submit and Sign Up” button at the bottom of the screen. Please note that there is a maximum of 34 household residents allowed per block of time so if you see 32 spaces are already reserved and you have more than 2 in your group the software will not allow you to sign up for that time so make note of the number of slots already taken when selecting the block of time.

At the next screen you will see the days and times you selected and a “quantity” box with a drop down arrow.  Click the arrow and select how many household residents you are signing up for that time slot (1 – 4).  There is a limit set for group size of no more than 4 household residents.

Enter the required information (Unit Address, Phone, etc).  You will be able to save your contact information if you like so that you do not have to enter the address/phone information everytime you reserve space.

List the up to 4 household residents that will be coming to the pool.  All names of who will be coming must be listed including the person completing the form if you are coming as well.

Answer the questions regarding the rules and the waiver (must select “Yes” in order to reserve space) then click the “Sign Up Now” button at the bottom of the screen.

The next screen will show the dates/time slots reserved and you will also receive a confirmation email.  You will also have an opportunity at this screen to create an account to make it easier to sign up for the pool and other Queen’s Landing events in the future.  You can also edit your reservation should you need to do so.

To reserve space click this link Pool Reservations – Sign Up Genius or visit https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040549A5AA23A6FB6-june.  If you do not have a computer or smart phone please contact the office during office hours for assistance.

*Please do not sign up for more than one slot per day or you will receive an email advising all reservations with the exception of the one reserved time has been deleted.  However, while at the pool during your scheduled reserved time, you may check on line to see if there is space available in the next time slot, and sign up for it.  If there is space available in the upcoming time slot you must register,  exit the pool and re-enter with the next group.

The Board hopes these rules will aid in the safer operation of the pool but assumes no liability in the event a unit owner, tenant, resident, contractor, employee or anyone in contact with them becomes infected with COVID 19.  The Board reserves the right to adjust these rules for smoother operation of the facility and to meet further government orders and health department guidance for safe operation.  The Board also reserves the right to close the pool should patrons not follow the rules.
Thank you,
