Don’t miss this week’s Meetings!

Owners/residents are strongly encouraged to attend meetings so mark your calendars now, set your reminders, and plan on either attending in person or tune in from the comfort of your home.  Please note that only those who have been fully vaccinated may attend the meeting in person.  If you plan to attend in person, please have your proof of vaccination card with you.

Reminders about the upcoming PaddleBoard/SUP class, the Kayaking class and the Tennis Social/Orientation. We have enough for Kayaking, as of today, but we need more signups for the other two classes.

 

On Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, 27th, weather permitting, the COSC Committee will offer a weekend dedicated to watersports. 

 

On Saturday we will have a Paddleboard orientation from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.  We will have instruction provided by Dragonfly Paddle and Fitness’s certified instructor Karla Horton. She taught the class last year and it was well-received.

Please note - payment must be made in advance on Dragonfly’s website and a waiver from Dragonfly must be brought with you to the class.  We have had two registrants so far and they have not paid on Dragonfly’s site yet. 

 

We need 4 more signups before we will have enough to hold the class!

 

On Sunday, June 27th, we will have a Kayak Orientation, provided by Certified Instructor Vicki Paulus of the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center. This event is only $10 per person if you have a kayak, $20 if you need a kayak provided.  Please bring your check on the day of the class. 

 

The class will be for 2 hours, from 10 AM through 12 PM.

Tennis Social / Orientation:

 

TENNIS SOCIAL AND CLINIC- on Tuesday, June 29th at 6 PM.

All levels welcome. We will have 1 hour of social play/drils at the Queen’s Landing Courts under the instruction of USPTA and USPTR certified instructor Susan Cleggett. She has taught for 30 years in Queen Anne and Talbot counties.

Price reduced$10 per person (cash or check to be given to instructor on the date) Minimum 4 participants required, (We have two signups as of today). Max of 12. Free light refreshments will be provided. Racquets available upon request.

Men’s Exercise Group*

Meets every Monday, Thursday, Saturday at 9 am at the clubhouse.

Saturday mornings at 8 am at the tennis courts.  If you would like to get connected with others click this link “Pickleball” and join the group.  This is free activity.
