Subject: QL RESIDENTS TO REGISTER VEHICLES/OBTAIN & DISPLAY DECAL BY 2/15/2021
Good Afternoon QL,

It’s been a little over a year since we did a big sweep of the community to tag vehicles to be towed for not having the required QL parking decals and it is that time again.  This year, however, with COVID and the office being operated remotely for several months and homes changing hands, we know it may have been a bit more difficult to match up schedules to get to the office and get your vehicle decals so we will be tagging vehicles with a WARNING TAG versus a tow tag the first time around.

Please know that the warning tags are a bit easier to remove as compared to the very difficult task of removing a tow tag but they are still an inconvenience to remove, so in order to avoid a tag of any kind being adhered to your vehicle’s window, please take the time to register your vehicle no later than 2/15/2021.  Otherwise, tagging vehicles with the warning tag will start on 2/16/2021and will provide you an additional week’s time from the date of the warning notice to bring your vehicle into compliance.  At that point, if the vehicle is not registered with the office and the decal properly displayed (front windshield), your vehicle will be tagged again, but this time with a tow tag.

There is no cost for the decal and decals can be picked up at the Association office located in the clubhouse. Our office hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 to 4:30 pm and Fridays, 8 to 3:30 pm.  We do recommend you schedule a time to come by the office to register your vehicle and get your decal so that we can minimize the amount of people in the lobby at the same time.  When coming to the office, please wear a mask and have the Year, Make, Model, Color and License Plate information for each vehicle available.

If you fail to register your vehicle in the provided timeframe and your vehicle is tagged for towing, your vehicle will be towed at your expense. Should that happen you can retrieve your vehicle from Parks Garage located at 3630 Main Street in Grasonville. Their phone number is 410-827-7766.

Also, as a reminder, vehicles can be tagged for towing due to other reasons besides no decal displayed so please take a moment to review 2.8 Vehicles in the Rules & Regulations.  While this document can be found on the portal under Community Information > Governing Documents > Rules & Regulations, I have also attached a copy to this broadcast message for your easy reference.

Thank you,
