This month’s BOD meeting was on the longer side compared to some. The big topics were this year’s insurance renewals which were all approved unanimously:
Master Policy Renewal
Excess Crime Rider
Decline of Terrorism Coverage
Together these come to around 223k which represents about a 6% increase for this year, a number which is not surprising given the rise of inflation and a number of other factors.
As mentioned also in a separate broadcast, the upcoming Budget was discussed which included small increases in condo dues of between $3 and $6 depending on unit type.
Eight units had still not done their 2021 dryer vent cleaning. Five of these have scheduled appointments since they were informed that the fining process would begin. The remaining three are subject to fines.
