Registration is $30 per boat.You get:
- A starter kit of building materials to include an assortment of corrugated cardboard and a roll of duct tape (enough material to build a 2 person boat)
- $10 food voucher
- Two event t-shirts (ability to purchase more if wanted)
- A team burgee (flag) to decorate
Attached to this email is all the information you will need to give you an understanding of what a cardboard boat regatta is, how to build a boat and important dates. And, of course, there is always youTube. This is a great activity and fun for all ages.
Last event the t-shirts were very popular and were a heather gray with a maroon logo. This event – they are heather blue with a white logo.
For those crews signed up you will receive an email tomorrow with more information on how and where to pick up your supplies, information for the “How To” boat building get together and a request for T-shirt sizes so keep your eyes open for that email and thank you for being an active part of the community, willing to have fun and give some joy to your neighbors as they watch the fun. We are so excited to enjoy this experience with you!!!
