Couple of happenings it was felt the community should be aware of as community members of the Kent Island area.

COVID-19 and Local Restaurants

Please know this message is just to make sure you are informed. For those restuarants that could be reached (Big Owl’s and Annie’s), the closings/cleanings/reopenings were confirmed. The following local restaurants have announced temporary closures while they take measures to minimize any spread of COVID-19. More information is available on their Facebook or websites and most, if not all, are expected to re-open today.

“We regret to inform you that the Jetty will be closed until Friday, 7/17. It was brought to our attention today one of our staff members have tested positive for Covid-19 while traveling. Upon receiving this news, we immediately closed. We are working with the local health department and taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of our employees and customers. We have hired a certified cleaning crew that specializes in Covid sanitation. Thank you for understanding that the health of our staff and costumers is most important during this time. We love you all and will be back open soon!”
