Tropical Storm Warning – High Winds – Secure Patio Furniture, Small Crafts, Etc.

Good Morning QL,

 

An announcement was issured 5 hours ago for Queen Anne’s county that tropical storm conditions (sustained winds of 39 to 73 mph) are expected somewhere within the specified coastal area within 36 hours. Please take steps to secure all outdoor patio furniture, decorations, plants, etc at your unit.  If you have a small craft stored at your unit, please make sure the craft is secure.  As a reminder, kayaks, paddleboards and other small craft may not be stored outside a unit leaning on the stucco or dryvit walls of a unit, including patio and storage unit walls and nothing may be tied to exterior railings which may hit against the stucco or dryvit walls in the wind.

 

If you have a small craft stored on one of the storage racks at the clubhouse or Macum Creek, please make sure the craft is secured to the rack, but not to another owner’s craft.
