The May 14th Open House for the Queen’s Landing Clubhouse renovation has come and gone and we wanted to bring some pictures and info to those who couldn’t attend!
First, on the west side of the clubhouse you’ll note the new the old chain link fence enclosing this green area is gone, opening this up to year round use. The new gate to the pool is on the right.
On the east side of the clubhouse a similar renovation has taken place, opening some of the previously enclosed features such as the grills up to year-round and outside-pool-hours usage. Note on the left a new exit door out of the clubhouse (and one of the primary drivers of what ultimately became a complete renovation of the clubhouse). Also on the left you can see the brand new windows for the old “social” room now called “The Landing”.
Above The Landing, the deck has been rebuilt with new cable railings which you can see in the next two photos really maximize the view!
Stepping into the Chester Room from that deck and turning to the left you will find a new little nook with some fresh lounge furniture. That’s a new floor, finished walls (over the old cinderblock), and painted window trim.
Walking west down the Chester Room, and turning around again to face the east, you get the full view of the renovated Chester Room. On the right behind the bifold doors remains HVAC and water stuff, and behind the double doors is a large storage closet for tables, chairs, and more.
The kitchen remains to the right, although the doorway to it is not visible here.
Note also the completely refinished ceiling and fans.
Stepping out the doors on your left from the above position will put you out on the deck which overlooks the pool, again with cable railings and new furniture. This deck underwent a major structural rebuild as well.
Downstairs in the lobby you can see the floor is continued throughout. On your left in the first photo is a new desk area for the office’s administrative assistant. Our office and property manager Tammy’s office remains in place behind it and was also renovated and modernized. In the next photo, you can see that the small room which was previously used by the office’s administrative assistant has been converted into a small meeting room.
Leaving the lobby and looking down the hall towards the rest of the amenities. First door on your left is the access to the bathrooms.
A look towards the bathrooms and pool, and a look into each bathroom!
Although not yet stocked with our gym equipment (some of it new!) a view into the gym from the hallway shows off the new layout, floor, and ceiling.
Finally a peek into The Landing. As it is stuffed temporarily with some of the gym equipment, the pictures here were limited to this view out the north corner of the room, and the new kitchen.
