Trunk or Treat QL! – 6 pm to 8 pm

Over the past few years a trend has bubbled up in communities, particularly in places where you may not know your neighbors very well—or the houses that particpate in giving out candy are so far apart that by the time the kids have hit house No. 4, everyone’s ready to call it a night. It’s called Trunk-or-Treating, and the premise is simple: A bunch of community members band together (typically in a school or church parking lot but for QL, in the clubhouse parking lot), deck out their trunks with Halloween decorations like they’re starring in an episode of Pimp My Ride: Spooktacular Edition, and let their kids meander from car to car, collecting candy at each stop.

If at first this seems a little lackluster, just wait until you see the cars. Some people really get into creating themed designs that blow away most of the houses in a typical neighborhood, like the SUV-turned-pirate-ship featured in the sign up photo. And, becuase this is an ever growing popular trend you can either create your owned decorated theme for your vehicle or you can purchase decorating kits online or even if you simply want to hand out candy without all of the decorating you can do that, too.

If you would like to be one of the creatively decorated trunks participating in this event please sign up by clicking this link for Trunk or Treat SignUpGenius as we need a count of vehicles so that vehicle parking can be mapped out and your spot provided to you.  Prize will be given for the best decorated vehicle, too!

*As with all events social distancing will be enforced as per the current regulations at the time of the event.
